  5.         Play PC Pro-GOLF as our guest. There are major changes from
  6.                 earlier versions. The game system and the AMHERST
  7.                 Golf Course are both on this diskette.
  8.  
  9.         There are a few facts you should know.
  10.                 Though this is COMMERCIAL SOFTWARE, it is provided to you
  11.                 in this form (almost free) so that you may decide, before
  12.                 spending any more money, IF YOU LIKE IT!
  13.                 If you DO like it, then we encourage you to register as
  14.                 a user. ($20.00, American). Foreign Orders: add $3.00.

  16.         IF YOU REGISTER, What do you GET..?
  17.                 1. Another complete 18-HOLE course, ready to play.
  18.                 2. The GOLF-COURSE CONSTRUCTION SET to design and build
  19.                    your own golf courses which are then "playable" with
  20.                    PC Pro-GOLF. (The same one used to build this course.)
  21.                 3. Notification of major additions and revisions to both
  22.                    PC Pro-GOLF and GOLF COURSE CONSTRUCTION SET.
  23.                 4. The latest version of PC Pro-GOLF.

  25.         IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
  26.  
  27.              1. Before doing anything else, make a BACK-UP copy of
  28.                 this disk. The best method is to use DISKCOPY, which
  29.                 can be found on your DOS system diskette.
  30.  
  31.              2. Print out the INSTRUCTIONS for using PC Pro-GOLF. To
  32.                 do this, insert the disk into drive A, turn on your
  33.                 printer, and type...

  37.                 There are 10-pages of notes and references. Once you
  38.                 have played a few rounds, you will no longer need to
  39.                 refer to the instructions.

  51.                 After completing these pages of introduction,
  52.                 make sure you have the DOS-prompt and type...

  54.                         PCPG   and press the Enter-key
  55.  
  56.              3. PC Pro-GOLF is distributed as SHAREWARE. However,
  57.                 there are certain restrictions which must be observed
  58.                 to avoid infringing upon the copyright:
  59.                     a.  Copies for distribution must contain the 
  60.                         ENTIRE SYSTEM (all support files and messages)
  61.                         and CANNOT be included on the same disk or as
  62.                         part of other systems.
  63.                     b.  No files may be added to the diskettes other
  64.                         than Distributor Identification and related
  65.                         information. No "piggy-back" instructions or
  66.                         devices may be added which may alter the
  67.                         operation of the START-UP system installed on
  68.                         the disks by the author.
  69.                     c.  A copying fee of NOT MORE THAN $6.00 per
  70.                         diskette may be charged.

  72.              4. If you find PC Pro-GOLF entertaining and useful you
  73.                 have an obligation to register as a user by paying for
  74.                 it.

  76.              5. CMA SOFTWARE assumes no responsibility for possible
  77.                 errors or malfunctions of this system when provided
  78.                 by third-party distributors or electronic bulletin-
  79.                 board sources. CMA will be responsible for this
  80.                 system to the extent of replacement of the Program
  81.                 and Data diskettes, only, when supplied on ORIGINAL
  82.                 CMA SOFTWARE distribution diskettes.

  113.         GOLF COURSE CONSTRUCTION SET version 4.21: a description.
  114.  
  115.         CMA's Golf Course Construction Set is a graphics-editing tool for 
  116.         creating golf courses which are playable using the PC Pro-GOLF game 
  117.         system. It is the same one used in drawing the golf course found 
  118.         on this disk. Using keyboard macros, it performs all of the 
  119.         necessary functions for putting together any golf course you can 
  120.         imagine. Complete editing control is yours for creating new courses 
  121.         or altering old ones, including functions like ERASER, PAINT-
  122.         ROLLER, FREE-HAND DRAWING, MEASURING, Draw Trees, Buildings, etc.,
  123.         at the touch of a single key. 
  124.  
  125.         Artistic talent is not needed for you to create challenging golf 
  126.         courses. You may create hundreds of them, limited only by your 
  127.         imagination.
